Meet Your Doctor
Dr. King is a compassionate and experienced optometrist who is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients. Dr. King has a wealth of knowledge and expertise, having spent over 25 years in the field of optometry, mostly in private practice. Dr. King is passionate about preserving the health of her patients and providing them with exceptional eye care. Cypress Eye Care's carefully curated eyewear collection, advanced medical equipment, and thoughtfully designed office reflect this commitment.
Dr. King grew up in Winter Haven, FL. She studied biology at the University of Central Florida. Dr. King then continued her education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry in 1999. Dr. King practiced in Denver, CO and New York City before returning to the area in 2010 to be closer to family.
Outside of work, Dr. King loves spending time with her husband, John, and their children, Lauren and Gavin. She also enjoys boating, traveling, and taking care of her animal crew-including a dog, cats, bunnies, and many turtles.
